Websites and apps for local businesses
Your business is better than your website.
We give small businesses the facelift they've been putting off, and we do it in a week. A clean, modern site that turns people who find you into people who book you, with nothing inside it that rots.
- Fixed price, agreed before we start
- Live seven days after you send your content
- You own the site, the domain and the accounts
The facelift
Same business. New first impression.
Drag the handle. This is the difference between a site that people leave and a site that gets the call.
What we do
Two things, done properly.
Most businesses need the first one. Some need the second. We'll tell you which, even if it's the cheaper answer.
The facelift
A new site built around one job: getting the customer to book, call, or walk in. Fast, clean, works on a phone, and easy for you to update.
- Design and build
- Copy that sounds like you
- Booking, forms, maps, reviews
- Google ready from day one
The tool
When a website isn't enough. Client portals, booking systems, memberships, dashboards. Runs in the browser, no app store required.
- Accounts and logins
- Payments and subscriptions
- Admin side for your team
- Grows with the business
The app
A real iPhone or Android app for businesses whose customers come back every week. Built when it makes sense, not because it sounds impressive.
- iOS and Android
- Push notifications
- App Store submission handled
- Ongoing updates
Mobile first
Most of your customers
will only ever see this.
People find you on a phone, in a parking lot, with one hand. So the phone version is the one we design first and the desktop version follows it, not the other way around.
Tap targets you can actually hit, a booking button that never leaves the screen, and prices you can find without pinching.
Who it's for
Good businesses with tired websites.
If your customers find you through Google, Instagram, or a friend, and your site makes them hesitate, that's who we build for.
Why it matters
Nobody waits eight seconds
to look at your prices.
Most small business sites are slow because they were built on a stack of plugins and stock photos. People leave before the page finishes loading, and the owner never finds out it happened.
We build lean. Fewer moving parts, real photos, nothing loading that nobody asked for.
Time until the page is usable on a mid range phone. The first number is what we keep finding when we audit a new client. The second is the target we hold ourselves to.
How it works
Seven days, four steps.
No twelve page proposals. A short call, a clear scope, and your site live inside a week. The clock starts the day your photos and service list land in our inbox, not the day you say yes.
Look
A 30 minute call. What the business does, who it needs to reach, what's not working now. You get a one page plan and a fixed price before anyone starts.
Cut
Design. You see the homepage on your phone by the end of day three, and we adjust until it feels like you. No surprises at the end.
Polish
Build, copy, photos, booking, maps, reviews. Everything wired up and tested on real devices, not just in a browser window.
Launch
We move your domain, set up Google, hand you the keys, and show you how to make small changes yourself.
Pricing
Fixed prices. No retainers you don't need.
One offer, one number, agreed before anyone starts. Hosting is optional and you keep the site either way.
The Facelift
A complete site for a business that sells to people who walk in, call, or book. Designed, written, built and launched inside a week, with nothing in it that needs patching later.
- Everything a customer needs, on one tight site
- Written for you, not filled with placeholder text
- Booking, maps, reviews, contact, all wired up
- Built to open fast on a phone in a parking lot
- No plugins, no logins, nothing that rots
- You own the site, the domain and the accounts
Keeping it up
Hosting, the certificate, backups, and someone who answers when something breaks. Entirely optional.
- Hosting and SSL handled
- Backups kept
- We pick up if it goes down
- Cancel any year, keep the site
Something bigger
Logins, payments, inventory, or an app behind the site. A different kind of build, so it gets a different kind of conversation and a proper scope rather than a price off a page.
Talk it throughPrices in CAD, agreed in writing before anything starts. The seven days run from the day your photos and service list arrive.
Questions
The ones we get on every call.
How much does a website cost for a small business?
One price. $2,400 for a complete site, live seven days after your content arrives. Hosting afterwards is $240 a year and entirely optional. If you need logins, payments or an app behind it, that is a different kind of build and starts around $6,000, scoped on a call. You get the exact number before anyone starts and it does not move.
How long does it take to build a website?
Seven days, and the clock starts the day your photos and service list arrive rather than the day you say yes. You see the homepage design on your phone by day three, so you are never left wondering what we did with the week.
I already have a site. Do I need a whole new one?
Not always. If the bones are fine we'll tell you, and the Refresh package exists for exactly that. If it's from 2014, built on something nobody can update, or it doesn't work on a phone, it's usually cheaper to start clean than to patch.
Do I need an app?
Probably not, and we'll say so. Apps make sense when customers come back weekly and log in, book, or pay. For most businesses a great site with online booking does more than an app ever would.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. Prices, hours, photos, a new post. We show you how in the handoff and it takes minutes, not a support ticket.
Who owns it?
You do, and not in the vague sense. The domain is registered in your name on your own account, and we hand you the login at launch along with the site and everything else we set up. If you ever want to leave, you take all of it, and you don't need to ask us first.
Where does the name come from?
Vera forma is Latin for true form. Every business already has one. Most of them just have a website that hides it.
Where are you based?
We work between Toronto and Miami and build for anywhere. Everything happens over a call and a shared link, so location has never mattered to a project.
